Make this rich, sweet, and creamy pecan pie dip without turning on your oven. It captures the flavor of classic pecan pie in an easy, dippable format, perfect for parties or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and fully combined.
  2. Slowly beat in the heavy cream until the mixture is light and fluffy. Set the cream cheese base aside.
  3. In a small, dry skillet over medium heat, combine the 1/4 cup granulated sugar and maple syrup. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to bubble and lightly caramelize, about 3 minutes.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the toasted chopped pecans and the 1/2 cup caramel sauce until the pecans are coated. Let this pecan topping cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  5. Gently fold half of the cooled pecan mixture into the cream cheese base.
  6. Spread the mixture into a serving dish. Top with the remaining pecan mixture.
  7. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow it to firm up slightly.

Notes

  • Serve this indulgent dessert dip with graham crackers, apple slices, vanilla wafers, or pretzels.
  • Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until fragrant for the best flavor.
  • You can prepare the cream cheese base a day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator.
