Make this creamy and tangy dill pickle dip in under 10 minutes. It uses simple ingredients and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser for game days or parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon to beat the cheeses until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  3. Stir in the finely chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Taste the dip and add more pickle juice or salt if you prefer a stronger flavor.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve your best homemade pickle dip cold with potato chips, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, reserve 2 tablespoons of the chopped pickles and stir them in just before serving.
  • If you want a Ranch Pickle Dip flavor, add 1 tablespoon of dry ranch seasoning mix with the spices.
  • This dip keeps well in the refrigerator for up to four days.
