Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets completely dry using paper towels. This step helps achieve a crispy exterior.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Set aside.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Lightly brush the salmon all over with olive oil. Season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Brush the prepared lemon garlic butter mixture over the top of the cooked salmon fillets.
Serve immediately. This is a great low carb air fryer dinner option.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down first and cook for 8 minutes before flipping for the last 2-4 minutes.
If you prefer a sweeter flavor, substitute half the butter mixture with a teaspoon of honey for a honey garlic salmon air fryer variation.
This recipe works well for salmon bites too; reduce the cooking time slightly.
